Théa at ESCRS: the key European Congress for innovation and scientific excellence in eye care
Since its foundation in 1991, the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) has played a key role in promoting education, research, and clinical advancement in intraocular lens implantation, refractive surgery, and broader ophthalmic practices. With over 7,500 members from more than 130 countries, the ESCRS congress has become THE major convention in the field of ophthalmology. ESCRS is dedicated to delivering top-tier educational experiences to its members in a reliable, impactful, and sustainable way. Additionally, this event offers exclusive in-person training opportunities to support ongoing professional growth and help members thrive in their field.
The ESCRS 2025 will take place from September 12 to 16 at the Bella Center in Copenhagen, Denmark.
As a long-standing partner of ESCRS, Théa will once again participate in this event by being involved in several activities:
– A Théa Booth to introduce our latest innovations and our commitment to eye care.
– A symposium on Paradigm Ocular Surface Inflammation: New Perspectives on Pathophysiology and Care, chaired by international experts in their field, Prof. Messmer (Germany), Prof. Baudouin (France) & Prof. Labetoulle (France) on Saturday September 13th, from 16:15 to 17:15.
– As part of our continued support to education, Théa is proud to support the ESCRS by providing equipment for the ESCRS Simulation Training Lab where young ophthalmologists will have the opportunity to enhance their surgical skills through hands-on training sessions led by experienced trainers.
